We've now been our new island for a couple of weeks, but here's a few pictures of our last few days on our old island. We had a precious time with friends, including goodbye dinners and LOTS of pictures. Here's just a quick look at the last few moments . . .
* Joseph said goodbye to his good friend W who is a sweet national colleague and who has really bonded with Anna. He played the strong stoic type but joined Joseph on the long 24 journey to our new island to help him stay awake and give him company.
* Goodbye dinner with good friends Mr. D & Mrs. Y. We enjoyed grilled fish and laughed over the past year of memories. Mrs. Y came to Lindsey the day before we were to fly out and said, in tears, she would not be able to come to the airport because she knew she would cry. In a sweet conversation, we decided to no longer call each other by our formal names (Mrs. Y and Mrs. Lindsey - the polite way to talk) but to call each other simply by our names, an act which implies close friendship.
* Lindsey hit the half way mark (20 weeks) in her pregnancy. There is a little person in there!

What a wonderful post. Oh, you are gorgeous, friend! Anna really makes my heart pitter patter. She's going to grow up to be someone we all want to be around.
I love you.
Yay! you look so cute! I am always excited when I go to your page every other week and there is a new posting. It's like getting a second helping of dessert! And there is more than one to read... I know Karen can't wait to visit!
