Mosques

We live in a predominately Muslim nation where mosques dot the countryside.  As Joseph traveled throughout some different areas in SE Asia, he came across some of these.

A VERY large mosque
Inside the mosque. Very different from the inside of a church. Muslim worshipers tote around small prayer rugs which they spread out, stand on, kneel, and then bow their foreheads to the ground in the direction of Mecca -- the holiest city in Islam.

A mosque built right on the edge of the river

Pecis -- small hats worn by Muslim men when they worship in mosques

THE largest Islamic center in all of SE Asia.
