With a random twist of events our previous helper, Nur, has moved from her island to work on the island we now live on and is currently living with us! Nur was my very first friend here in SE Asia and it just seems like God has brought us together again for this special time. Oddly enough too, we are exactly the same age! Both of us born on Nov 9, 1980 half a world apart! I've loved having her in our home and it has been wonderful for my language -- but so much more than that I just feel like God has blessed me again with my dear friend's presence.
Yesterday we went to the beach and she and Anna collected shells (Anna definately speaks more of the local language with her around!) and then we ate a picnic dinner on the beach as we watched the moon come out.
